The Breville VKJ367 uses BRITA filter technology which works as the Hot Cup is boiling. How does it work? BRITA filters use a mixture of carbon and ion exchange resin to remove hardness, chlorine, heavy metals such as led and copper, and other organic impurities from your water to improve its taste, smell and appearance.

BRITA filters eventually need changing, so weve included a BRITA Maxtra cartridge with a memo display to remind you when your filter cartridge needs to be changed.
